Introduction
EB Forms is a self-hosted form builder built for the Euro-BioImaging community. This guide covers everything from creating your first form to exporting responses as CSV.
What you can do
- Build forms with 11 field types using a drag-and-drop builder — or import an existing form definition from a JSON file.
- Use repeating groups to let respondents add multiple sets of related fields (e.g. "Add another facility").
- Control access — make a form public (anyone with the link) or private (only allow-listed email addresses).
- Set an expiry date so forms automatically close after a deadline.
- Analyse responses with a live dashboard: response rate over time, per-field breakdowns, and individual response viewer.
- Export to CSV with one click.

- Organisers — users who create and manage forms. Start with the Quickstart then read Form builder.
- Respondents — users who fill out forms. See Filling out a form.
